Cousins

Even though we are missing our Grandma Pingel, we got to spend some time with our cousins that we haven't seen since our wedding. They are eight now, make that nine, they just had a birthday and their names are Julia and Paige. I will attempt to put the correct name with face but I sure hope that their mom, Tracy will correct me if I am wrong.

We had a great time with the girls and Tracy and can't wait to see them again.

House update

Well, we are officially closing on our house December 31. We know it's New Year's Eve but what better way to ring in the new year than in a new house. We can't wait.

We've got grass...
Our deck and walk out basement.

Kitchen with island

Gas fireplace in the great room/family room/kitchen room

Do you know how hard it is to keep track of two walking 13 month olds and a very "busy" 3 year old? Sometimes I find them in interesting situations......

Favorites....

Noah loves his bath robe.
The girls love their milk.

Birthday girls

Just catching up... Birthday girls on their actual birthday.

The girls got to share their 1st birthday party with cousin Spencer who was celebrating the big 13.

Sarah and Rachel on Halloween

Where has the time gone? I have been extremely absent from this blog. I guess I have to get you all caught up on the Lindberg goings on. Halloween was fun this year. Noah was a fireman with cousin Tanner's "real" fireman outfit. He even won a prize at the Underwood UMBA Halloween party. He also tried out roller skating for the first time.

Rachel was a bee and Sarah was a Ladybug.

I have never been a big Halloween person but it was fun this year with the kids. Maybe next year there will be a costumes for James and I too.

Grandma / Great Grandma Pingel

Aren't Grandma's the best? I know my grandma's were. November 2, 2008, we celebrated my grandma Pingel's birthday. (Her actual birthday was November 3.) She was 102. On November 17, just two weeks after her birthday, we were celebrating her life. It was a faithful, well lived life and one that is inspiring me to be a more faithful person. Her Bibles were well worn and full of many things, including a recipe for broccoli & chicken stroganoff (or something like that.) What a woman...
I've included a picture of Grandma with my family. It was, of course, the last picture we have of our family with her. It will be cherished for many years to come.

Don't forget to tell those grandma's and grandpa's in your life that you love them.

much love,

lori
