Friends,
Last night my father Jim passed away. His condition had worsened over the last few days, and he died peacefully at home. My mother Joy was there with him when he died.
Thank you all for your prayer, concern, and support over the last few weeks. My dad was one of the “giants” of the faith and as he lived in faith, he also died in it. I know he now rests in the arms of Jesus, his savior.
His life epitomized the words of Paul:
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.” (2 Timothy 4:7-8)
