Two new Toddler Beds

Vacation took it's toll on the girls. They learned how to climb out of their cribs and so out went the cribs and in came the toddler beds.

In my opinion, nothing beats walking into the room and seeing the two
of them sharing a bed. I love it!

It is soo cute! And innocent...

It's obviously very exhausting to live the life of a toddler. They fall asleep wherever they are. Even with the pillow propped up on the bed rail. But wait...

Maybe they are just exhausted after doing this to their room! This is nothing compared to the second day of messes, pictures which will be posted too, as soon as I get them off of my phone. All I can do is laugh and be thankful that I get to be home to
experience all the messes first hand.

New tree

A memorial gift from Living Grace, to plant a tree in James' dad honor and in memory to him. We picked out a Legacy Maple for our front yard. The picture is kind of cloudy but I think you can still see it. Noah was the photographer for these two photos.
The worker having lunch on our front porch. Have microwave will eat lunch. He loaded the "wave" out of his truck, heated up his lunch, and sat down and ate. Noah was fascinated by this which is why there is a photo.

California vacation

June 30 to July 7, 2009

Our trip to Sacramento was fun for us and great to visit James' family again. We missed seeing Grandpa Jim one last time but his presence was with us and we got to celebrate his faith-filled life with a wonderful memorial service.

We went to the train museum and Fairy Tale Land. We visited Folsom zoo and took a train ride. We even got to participate in the Fourth of July parade in Jim and Joy's subdivision.

At the train museum.

Back to summer vacation

Even Grandma caught a fish.
Tanner won the "biggest" fish contest of the week for our family!
Aunt Dixie and her big fish.
Sarah in the sandbox.
Rachel playing in the sandbox.
Noah and the fish he caught during the fishing tournament.
Julie and one of the many fish she caught. I love the pic of Spencer in the background.
Me with my large crappy I caught.

Favorite Pingel past time, Grandpa's popcorn.

Finally time for updates.

It's been a long time since I have posted and so there will multiple posts with pictures and not too many words. Just the way I like it.

We are doing well in all aspects of our lives. I am busy studying my medical transcription course online, which is why there hasn't been much in the way of posts. More on that another time. James and the church are doing great. We have been worshiping about 15 months now and things seem to be heading in the right direction. Great people and great faith.

Noah is ready for kindergarten but only goes to preschool three mornings a week. The girls like the quiet of the mornings when he is at school but they are very excited to have him come home too.

The girls, well, I'll just let the pictures and videos do the story telling.

Love to all and enjoy,
Lori
