Well, so much for updating every Friday. I knew that wouldn't work out so well. Anyway...
We have had a pretty busy last couple of weeks. Holy week came and went this year without much pomp and circumstance here at the Lindberg household. Lent did too for that matter. The weather has been cold and we have not chanced an encounter with the nasty flu bug to take the girls out to go to worship.
We were able to spend Easter with my mom and dad in Underwood. It was fun to be there again for the first time in probably 14 years. James and I realized that we didn't miss getting up early, early for a sunrise service. I wonder if we will have a sunrise at the new church next year? Here are a couple of pictures of the kids. As you noticed we even had one taken as a family.
This week we will be preparing for our little trip to Arizona to visit family and friends. Noah is so excited because we are taking Grandma and Grandpa with us. I'm sure he is thinking 10 days with grandma and grandpa, I'm lovin' it.
Mom came over yesterday and James said that Noah was so excited to see her that he couldn't stop jumping up and down. He did the same thing when Grandpa got here too.
Mom and Dad brought over a suitcase for us to use for the kids clothes and Noah started packing it right away. He put the most important things in first.... pjs and his Thomas the train "big boy" underwear. We're not quite there with the potty training but he is deciding to go potty on the potty on his own and doesn't really want James or I in the bathroom when he is going potty. We will be thrilled when he is finally out of diapers.
He has a favorite book right now called "Herky the Hawkeye." It is a favorite of mine too! He is very good at reading it to us. Now we like to think he is a genius but we know that he has merely memorized the book and is repeating it when he is "reading" it for us. All I know is that he is very cute when he is reading about my alma mater.
James went up to check on Noah the other night and found him sound asleep like this in his bed. I guess he was so tired that he fell asleep while dangling his legs. It makes my legs fall asleep just looking at this picture.
Gotta run, girls are waking up from their nap.
